Watsu Practitioner Special Certification Program
This document outlines Special Requirements for Bodywork Practitioners to be registered on the WABA registry as professional Watsu India - WABA Watsu Practitioners.
Certified practitioners in any type of bodywork with a minimum of 500 hours of recognized training with the required qualifications will be recognized worldwide as Watsu practitioner as soon as all requirements outlined in this document are fulfilled.
Eligibility:
Licensed Professionals eligible for this program includes Nationally Certified Massage Therapist (NCBTMB), Licensed Physical Therapist or Physical Therapy Assistant, Licensed Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapist Assistant, Registered Nurse (BSN/MSN), License to practice Medicine or Dentistry (MD/DO/DC/DDS/DMD), State Licensed/Certified Massage Therapist (500+ Hours), ATRI Certified Aquatic Therapist (2003 Standards) with over 500 hours of certified training.
Those with an extensive bodywork practice in an area where the minimum requirements were less than 500 hours may reduce the 500 hundred hour minimum by 50 hours for each year of full time bodywork practice. Those with similar qualifications will be considered on a case by case basis.
Watsu ATC & ITC Certification Program
WABA's Assistant and Instructor Training Programs worldwide provide essential core certification courses: the Assistant Training Course (ATC) and the Instructor Training Course (ITC).

Ethics Agreement between Participants and Watsu India
This document establishes ethical guidelines for students, ensuring the authenticity and excellence of Watsu® as the first and distinctive aquatic bodywork practice. These guidelines are designed to maintain the integrity of Watsu® and apply to all Watsu® classes and other aquatic bodywork modalities listed on www.waba.pro.
